Hudayriyat Women’s Cycling Series 2024

Hudayriyat Island, Abu Dhabi’s premier sports and leisure hub developed by Modon, is gearing up to host the Hudayriyat Women’s Cycling Series 2024, one of the very few exclusive cycling series for women in the region.
 

The organisers invite female cyclists of all levels – from beginners to professionals – to participate in a race with a total prize money pool of over AED 50,000. Organised by Modon and Hudayriyat Sports, the event will run from 20 October to 8 December at Hudayriyat Cycling Track, featuring four races in total. The programme sets goal-based milestones with the distance getting longer with each race.
 

The exciting series will kick off with a 30 km season opener in October and will focus on raising awareness about breast cancer prevention as part of the Hudayriyat Pink October initiative. November will feature two races, the one on 3 November of 40 km race will be held under the theme of ‘Motivation and Inclusion’. Pushing the finish line to 50 km, the November 17th race will bring an element of fun to the track with the riders encouraged to compete in their wildest cycling outfit. The 60 km season finale will take place in December in celebration of women’s success and achievements. Amateur cyclists can join the Community Ride that will be part of each round with a choice of two shorter track lengths focusing on social inclusive riding.
 

The event will culminate in an award ceremony at Abu Dhabi Cycling Club (ADCC) Plaza with the participation of the Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Sports Academy, Women Moving Forward by UAE Team ADQ, and Abu Dhabi Cycling Club.

The Hudayriyat Women’s Cycling Series 2024 aims to help women who want to pursue cycling as a professional sport advance their journeys to excellence.
